Thanks to all who have replied..... So far I have checked the
permissions in the bin directory and they all look fine....
-rwxr-sr-x 1 informix informix 1246772 Apr 6 13:31 onstat*
I have also looked into the /etc/passwd file and group files. They are
managed by YP, but they all have informix in them.
Also Jonathan, the files are not NFS mounted. I have also reinstalled
twice!
I've opened a case for this with tech support (they have been helpful)
but STILL can't find the solution.
HELP!!!!
Thanks again. Maria Wilson
