problem with customised runner

Hi, I've got a customised 4gl rds runner which when used appends to a file called bb.out. I need to stop this happening but don't know how. I believe bb.out is a gcc debugging file and is invoked when c-programs are compiled with a "-a" option, but as you know 4gl runners are compiled using cfglgo/cfgldb scripts and I can't file a "-a" option in these scripts. I don't even know where to look. Any help would be much appreciated
