IUG - Auckland NZ, Inaugural Meeting

For NZ Based list members. I have volunteered, amongst others, to help set up the initial meeting of an Auckland Informix users group. Informix is organising an inaugural meeting for mid-late april, taking advantage of the presence in-country of speakers following the Vision 96 conference in Australia. More details on this will be forthcoming. After the inaugural meeting, the show will be run by the members, not Informix. So the first order of business will be to elect officers. The normal format for these groups is that they meet out of hours to hear speakers put up by Informix. It is a way to keep up to date and network among other Informix professionals. Additionally members are mailed on items of interest as they arise. Could you please publicise this among those members of your organisation that might be interested in either attending the meetings or serving as an officer of the group.
