to do automatic/continuous backup to /dev/null. Logs were full at
first so I added another logical log. Now when I try it I get a
message saying I can't backup logs to /dev/null:
Taz:/home/archive/informix/etc$ ontape -a
Performing automatic backup of logical logs.
Please mount tape 1 on /dev/null and press Return to continue ...
Logbackup failed - Log backup to device /dev/null not allowed
Please label this tape as number 1 in the log tape sequence.
This tape contains the following logical logs:
1 (partial)
