Hi Kim_Seemann, You should be able to use the Informix OLEDB provider to connect Informix servers (IDS) regardless of what platform the server is installs. You need Informix ClientSDK installed on your client computer (OLEDB driver is part of the Informix Client Sdk. ) Make sure the client machine is properly configured to connect the Informix server. If not, you may want to use SetNet.exe tool that shipped with Informix Client SDK to configure this. The latest release of Client SDK is CSDK 2.81 Let me know if you face any problem in configuring this.
