Hi,
This is Carl Berner I have the same problem. I am trying to transfer
rows from a table to a different database server, I am getting -956
error
We added the host name to /etc/hosts.equiv file. It still gives the
same error. Both server's hosts.equiv files have host names in them.
One server has sqlhosts file and the other one does not. They both are
running 7.11. It used to work at one time. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

}Hi Jake,
}
}Though, in the original post you have pointed out that there is not
}/etc/hosts.equiv and neither is one required, one solution is to
}create the /etc/hosts.equiv file on the host and enter hostname in it.
}This should resolve the issue.
