extents

Hi I installed ODS 7.23 on HP 10.20 today. The information engineer once told me before I create the empty database, I need to fix the extent sizes in sysmasters in order to keep all system files under 8 extents. Can anyone give me instruction on how to fix it? I have ODS 7.23 installed on other HP box. I have noticed a few sys files have at least 70 extents each. Thanks in advance for the instruction. Thuc
