For performance reasons I need to split each database over several disks, this means that each database will have several chunks allocated to it so any one disk could have upto 30 different chunks on it ! It make for a bit of an administration nightmare if one of the tables in a chunk on the centre of the disks grows beyond its predicted size as I would then have to allocate another chunk for it on the outside edge of the disk. -- Kevin Page Turnpike evaluation.
