ODBC Drivers

We are running into problems with the ODBC Driver we currently use for Windows95/NT applications connecting to Informix Online 7.31UC1 on Sun Solaris 2.6. The problems relate to support for some of the more recent data types (eg DATETIME hour to minute etc). We currently use Intersolvs ODBC Driver version 2.8 . We have previously had problems with version 3.01. I note that Merant's Datadirect Connect version 3.7 is available. Does anyone have any comments to make about the stability of this driver and support for the more recent data types in the database.
