I too use Wingz, Hyperscript, and Datalink on my SGI system as a quick front-end development environment. I was also pleased to find that much of my Wingz wkz's and scripts ported to my Mac Powerbook! If only Datalink were developed to allow external calls outside the Wingz environment AND run on Mac's. As I presently understand it, data and system calls cannot be passed out from Wingz/DataLink with any mechanism for return. Please correct me if I'm wrong on this. I don't use the charting/plotting capabilities of either Wingz or Excel because the graphics part (not the boolean and stats math part) are too primitive to be of much use to me. I'm hoping Informix' ViewPoint and evolved HyperScript Tools will port to Macs, DECS, Suns, and SGI's AND will have I/O (and socket) enhancements.
