Move chunks

Hi all, I have IUS 9.x on an Ultra 1 box, running Solaris 2.5. I want to move the chunks of all of my dbspaces to another disk. Chunks are stored into cooked files. I thought that if I move them to my new disk and create some symbolic links (with same names as the original cooked files) into my old dir pointing to the new files, it would be Ok. I wonder if some one of you have done this before or somebody please tell me if its wrong. Thanks in advance & good morning from the sunny-hot Athens(39 C) P.Xeros
