My server is starting very slowly

Hi all, I need the opinion or helps of You. I have a SUN Ultra Enterprise 3500 with solaris 8, Veritas 5 and Informix 9.21. Until before installing Informix, the time that took restart my server has been always normal (4 minutes.), until we installed informix. At this moment, the time that took was approximately 40 minutes. Something peculiar happens here, seems that the problem is generated by Veritas because in this point the server take approximately 40 minutes to start. I don't have any error messages. We have uninstalled informix and the process returns to be normal (4 minutes)' something happens when we install Informix.
