Do you know how to configure the Apache Web Server and the Informix Dynamic Server to make them available through Internet? I need to access Informix with a C program that runs in cgi-bin via Apache. If know something about this, please let me know. Thanks! JorgE.H

If know something about this, please let me know. The IIUG web site has relevant information - look under the Linux section for a howto. http://www.iiug.org/idn The IDN web site also has information in the Linux section. http://www.informix.com/idn -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v0.60 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
If you can rewrite your C-program and you need a fancy web site try http://www.php.net. Php integrates as a module into apache and allows you to put programming statements directly into your html code (no cgi needed). And it has a quite usable interface to Informix databases. Works extremely well for us. Peter Jorge Huerta wrote: > > Do you know how to configure the Apache Web Server and the Informix Dynamic > Server to make them available through Internet?
