The time stamp is not a literal date time, it is a 4 byte integer which does not calculate to a specific date Will Rice -----Original Message----- From: Chris Carter [SMTP:toobad@nospam.com] Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 1999 10:18 AM To: informix-list@iiug.org Subject: Question about Date/Time stamps on pages These are Y2K related questions. First, are the Date/Time stamps on the pages in the DB actually a Date and Time stamp or are they a Date and a serialazation number? If I was to have to set the hardware date back to 1972 (It has the same calendar as the year 2000) how would the engine react when I brought it up and it saw that the Date/Time stamps on the pages are set to values far into the future?
