############################################################################# Washington Area Informix User Group Forum 93 The Event Forum 93 will be a one day event held by the Washington Area Informix User Group that will include exhibits, speakers and seminars. The Forum will be held at the Springfield Hilton, Springfield, Virginia, on Tuesday, November 16th, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Invitations are being sent to all members of the User Group and over 2,500 individuals that use the Informix Database. We will have speakers and seminars on Database Performance tuning, Database Security, 4GL Programming Tips, Networking Databases, etc... We plan to have two or three rooms for conference seminars. We will also have a room with 6 to 10 exhibits. Four companies have already expressed intent to participate as exhibitors. Participants Participation is open to everyone. Registration includes one year membership in the Washington Area Informix User Group, the User Group Newsletter, a diskette with user group public domain software, and attendance in the seminars and exhibits. A final schedule and reminder will be faxed or mailed to all participants who register. There is a $20 registration fee. Topics must be relevant to Informix Users. If you would like to speak, please send your name, contact information, and a brief description of your presentation to Lester Knutsen at the address below. The User Group steering committee will select a final list of speakers at the end of September. Exhibitors/Sponsors One large room will be set aside for 6 to 12 exhibits. Each exhibitor will be provided with one 8 foot table for product demonstration. Each exhibitor may also have one 90 minute session to speak at the forum.
