Hi everyone, are there any users out there using this setup? informix 7.2, veritas netbackup 3.1.1 sun os 2.5 with a sun E10000 backing up on a sun ETL 7/3500 with 6 quantum DLT 7000 drive What I really would like to know is what is your backup setup while I am backing up 150gb using onbar -w -b -L 0 nightly backup is taking aproximately 13.5 hours Does this sound reasonable to do ?? onbar -b -L 0 setting my MPX on client and storage unit to 8 and setting the bar_maxbackup =8 New question:: If I go to a level 1 backup nightly and a full once a week, would that decrease my backup time even more?? What about logical logs ? if I have a diaster and must do a complete restore and have 20 logical logs and number 17 is corrupt and cannot be restored then I wouldnt have a complete restore Correct ? Guess all this questions are pretty basic, can any one help?? Garry
