Re: Query problem, error message -1228

Has this started happening after installation of a component of Informix family, such as esql or 4GL upgrade maybe? If so, do check your installation sequence in the .snfile. It should be in the increasing numeric order of releases. If that is not the case, some of the files get overwritten by earlier versions and the error you describe is probably as a result of that. The installation guide, I believe, documents this. HTH. Atul.
