There is a utility that comes with either engine to do this for you. If
you want the schema only:
dbschema -d database output_file
Type in dbschema w/ no parameters to get usage help.
If you want the schema, AND all the data loaded, you could use the
dbunload and dbload utilities, but I'd reccommend about reading them
in the manuals first, especially if the database is of any significant
size.
