Hello people of Forum! I need insert a string into a TEXT column, but the engine show me the follow error: "A blob data type must be supplied within this context ". My engine is IDS 7.31 TD6 running on Windows 2000 Server. Can anyone helpe me? Thanks! Gustavo Echenique
You cannot use dbaccess to insert a value to a TEXT or BYTE type column
except by using the LOAD verb. It has to be done through a host language
application. Dbload can handle it IB or you can roll your own.
