Storage Wks vs Symmetrix for OnLine Storage

We are putting together a 300-400 GB data warehouse and are looking at different disk farm sub-systems to hold all this data. We've narrowed it down to the Symmetrix product from EMC^2 or the Storage Works system from DEC. I've spoken with people who have used both products in an OnLine environment and both appear to be winners. What I have not been able to do is find is someone who's evaluated both products together. The people I've spoken with have just looked at one or the other due to previous commitments with vendors.
