Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

dbschema did show some stored procedures calling 4ge programs, but not
the 4ge program that is giving me the problem.
If I can't get this to work, i may try a different approach. I thought
maybe I could use these settings in Setnet32:
"IBM Informix Server" = linux_server
"HostName" = sco_server
I hoped when logging into the VB program it would log into the SCO
server since that is the host and then it would look to the Linux
server for the SE database. The SCO server has a sqlhosts entry for
the Linux server. It doesn't work I get this error:
-957 Cannot create/access database on NFS mount.
It's not going over NFS. I can connect with dbaccess running on SCO to
the SE database on Linux, but it doesn't seem an ODBC connection from
Windows can do the same.
