Workload balancing package?

Is anybody using or know of any good workload balancing packages for Solaris 2.3 and up? We have a large number of users putting in long queries and report requests, but also need to push large batch updates through. We would like to be able to set all processes, including informix sqlturbo processes, related to a parent process higher or lower in dispatch priority, in groups or by jobname and have operations be able to monitor how things are going.
