Page size information

This is a tough one: Does anyone know whether the system page size can be obtained programatically. I'm talking about the database page size that seems to be 2 Kbytes on most systems. I've heard that this size is 4 Kbytes on some systems (AIX?) and could possibly change on any given system with new versions. My program wants to report table size information to users, preferably in Kilobytes rather than in pages. The size information is contained in the "systables" in page units. I could just multiply the numbers by 2 to get kbyte units, but that doesn't ensure compatability with future upgrades or with ports to other systems. Does anyone have a clue, like about some undocumented SMI tables, SQL functions, c functions or whatever?
