HELP - fglc dumps core

I sure hope someone out there can help me... We're running INFORMIX-4GL Version 4.12.UE1 under DEC OSF/1 3.0b on a DEC 3000/600. In this configuration, fglc consistantly generates an unaligned access error then dumps core. When I look at the temp file that fglc was writing at the time of failure, it's in the middle of writing push_quote(blah);. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?
