The Informix ODBC-driver does not support 'Create database'. You have t=
o
use dbaccess.

Hi
When I try to use "CREATE DATABASE..." using an ODBC client I get the
error :
Error: General error. Create database must be executed within a
ServerOnly Connection (State:37000, Native Code: FFFFD4CC)
How can I specify an ODBC source without the database name so that I
can have a "serveronly" connection and be able to create databases ?
Thanks.
Fauzan

Hi
Thanks for you input. I did, however, find a way to do it from informix
technical support. Just add
"Connectdatabase=no"
in the ODBC connection string and then it works just fine.
