Hi,
I found a file named "onconfig" and other named "porto.onconfig" that have
both defined this variables:
ROOTNAME rootdbs
ROOTPATH /dev/ridsporto
ROOTOFFSET 4
DBSERVERNAME portoMSGPATH /informix/portoonline.log
...
> dd if=<ROOTPATH> bs=4k count=1 skip=<ROOTOFFSET> | od -c
I tryed this command but a couldn't see any compreensible information, it
seems like ascii code (\\0 \\b 001 9 ....).

I found a file named ".conf.porto" that has got inside this piece of text:
"Informix Dynamic Server 2000 Version 9.21.UC5"

I tryed
"export INFORMIXSERVER=porto"
"export ONCONFIG=onconfig"
"oninit -v" wich returned:
Message 35593 not found.
succeeded
Message 35541 not found.
Message 12759 not found.
FAILED
Then I tryed:
"export ONCONFIG=porto.onconfig"
"oninit -v"
but I got the same result.
What do you suggest??
Thank you very much.
