So you tell me... which is easier. Buying new hardware or swapping out Informix for Oracle? Prior to the acquisition, HP and Informix had a decent relationship.... But hey! What do I know? I'm just trying to find a silver lining and an opportunity for Informix. After all, I imagine that it would be easier getting an Informix port back to Itanium than trying to port DB2 since most of DB2's distributed clients (read LUW) run on AIX. ;-) -G
