problems: DBA priviledges

We are running Online V5.0 and SQL V4.1 When tables go into more than 8 extents, I wanted to do the unloading, dropping, recreating (with original owner) and reloading of the tables from a usernumber which has DBA priviledge to all the databases on the system. Everything works fine, except when I try to revoke or grant table priviledges. I get the following error: 302: no GRANT option or illegal option on multi-table view. This tells me that the usernumber does not have the rights to grant table priviledges. (I know it is not a view!) I get the same error when using the usernumber INFORMIX, and when using the dbexport/dbimport combination. Anybody else had the same problem?
