Strings in compiled forms

Hello, My site uses sccs for our version control and I'm forcing everyone to embed string commands in their 4gls so that the 'what' command will tell me which versions of the 4gls are in a compiled 4ge. Does anyone know of a good way to implement this in forms? The only way I've been able to make strings appear in a compiled form is by placing them in the "SCREEN" or "COMMENTS" section, neither of these solutions is what I want. My question... Is there a way to embed "do nothing" strings in a compiled form? I'm using Informix 4.00.UEI on AIX 3.2.4 Thanks all, -- -joe "Honey, they're in *everybody's* eggs" --firesigns
