Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
I remember Madison saying at the IIUG conf last year that ifxclone is
essentially an onbar process. I was wondering if it was possible to
multi-thread it the same way we can with onbar. I tried setting BAR_MAX_BACKUP
to 4, but it's still restoring 1 dbspace at a time. I can't find anything
about this on here or in info center. If this isn't an option, maybe I should
put in a feature request.
I found a session from last years IIUG conference by Hyun-Ju Vega and it says
the following in the powerpoint:
Source archive data is sent to target using SMX (parallelism is controlled by
BAR_MAX_BACKUP ONCONFIG parameter on target)
I set BAR_MAX_BACKUP to 4 on my target machine and it's cooking along with 4
dbspaces at once.
