Error -457 upon Execution of SQL Statement
Posted in 1995
I sent the following article to c.d.i on March 29.Since I didn't get
any articles at all from c.d.i. during the next days I was informed
that the news provider server suffered a disk crash. As I suspect
that my article didn't reach c.d.i at all I post it again. If someone
has suggestions he can directly E-mail me.
We have following Problem on one of our clients running Informix
Online 5.02.UC8 on DEC OSF/1 V3.0.Upon execution of the following SQL
Statement through dbaccess we get -457 error (SQL Engine terminated
unexpextedly). The same SQL Statement runs without Problems in our SCO
Server.
The SQL Statement looks like:
SELECT bestellung.*,bespos.*,kunden.matchku
FROM bestellung,kunden,bespos,artikel, artgeb
WHERE bestellung.fbestnr="340" AND bestellung.finr = 2
AND bestellung.bestnr = bespos.bestnr
AND bestellung.besart > 1
AND bestellung.beststatus IN (25,30,35)
AND bespos.refnr IS NULL
AND kunden.finr = bestellung.finr
AND kunden.kunr = bestellung.kunr
AND kunden.konto_art = 2
AND bespos.art_num = artikel.art_num
AND bespos.gebnr = artgeb.gebnr
AND artikel.finr = 2
AND artikel.artnr = artgeb.artnr
ORDER BY bestellung.fbestnr,bespos.besposnr
If I modify this SQL Statement and remove the table artgeb or use
another table instead it works fine !
I also include parts of the tbconfig file from the DEC Server:
