Rowids on fragmented tables

In Informix On Line 7 you can have the system simulate rowids in fragmented tables just to enable your 4GL and other programs to continue working with the rowid value. You do not see a column rowid in the table definition so it is completely transparent to the applications You find more deails in the OnLine admin Guide and in the SQL Syntax guide under create table .... with rowids alter table alter fragment Hope this helps you out.
