onmonitor startup problem

Hi all, Need urgent help here. I got this error when trying to bring up onmonitor: exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program because of the following error: 0509-022 Cannot load library libC.a [shr.o] 0509-026 System error: A file or directory in the path name does not exist What could be the reason? Thanks in advance.

I would guess LD_LIBRARY_PATH is not set to show where the libc library exists, but this is a wild guess. That said, my system seems to look in /usr/lib even if LD_LIBRARY_PATH is not set, so where is libc on your system. What is your platform? What version of informix are you using? With this info, someone might be able to guide you through a series of commands to determine what is happening.
