I think it depends on just how extensive and how powerful a db you are looking for. I have just gone through abut a years search for an accounting package and came up with one answer . But if all you are looking for is an inventory db I am sure that FMP 3.0 will serve you quite will. It is an easy to use, easy to set up application that I personally think is the answer for most data base needs.
