I'm working with informix 7.31.FD3W1, recently I found this message in the logs 17:03:18 listener-thread: err = 0: oserr = 0: errstr = : 17:03:18 (91127) sockets error - registering a file 17:03:18 listener-thread: err = 0: oserr = 0: errstr = : 17:03:21 (91129) sockets error - registering a file I don't know why. My sqlhost: client onsoctcp dbclient sqlexe2 client_soc onsoctcp dbclient sqlexe8 ---(it is because I need 2 listener thread) client_shm onipcshm dbclient shm_client DBSERVERNAME client # Name of default database serverDBSERVERALIASES client_shm,client_soc # List of alternate dbservernames My NETTYPE NETTYPE soctcp,5,260,NET # Override sqlhosts nettypeparameters 220 NETTYPE ipcshm,1,80,CPU # Override sqlhosts nettype parameters220 I don't think that it is by connections or poll thread. I think it's by the memory, but I'm not sure. Last weekend I installed a patch on my system HP-UX and 2 days before I found the message. It is posible that here is the cause?
