I would expect this behavior to be unchanged. As I see it, an UPDATE or DELETE that changes zero rows because zero rows satisfy the WHERE clause has completed successfully. So SQLCODE = 0 is appropriate. However, you might want to check SQLERRD[3] (sqlerrd[2] for you ESQL/C folks), which contains the number of rows processed.
