QUERY ???

Hi, We are doing a Migration Project and are working in the foll. environment: O.S. Solaris - Version 2.5 MF Cobol - Version 3.2 Sparc Compiler C - Version 4.0 ESQL-Cobol - Version 7.12 SQL - Version 6.03 Online - Version 7.12 We are facing the following problem in ESQL-Cobol Programs : Problem:Informix gives an error when it encounters a group variable in the " Using Clause of Select Query ".This group variable is defined as the host variable in the Working Storage Section of Cobol Programs. Error :The following error is observed : " Using Clause does not match Dynamic Parameters" Workaround : However if we replace the group variable with an elementary data items (of group variable), the error does not occur. Is it that group variable is not recognised in the Using Clause in ESQL- Cobol Programs ?? Thanks in advance, Namita (namita@tulnepz.unisys.com)
