Has anyone discovered a way to automatically log in from Access to an Informix database? I have a number of reports written using Access that I would like to give to users, but I would prefer it simply log in to the linked tables, and print out the report. TIA. swilson@NOSPAM.hoida.com

Don't know if anyone answered yet, but you should be able to do this by editing the "connect" property of the linked tables, and supplying a user id and password. The whole string should look something like this: ODBC;DSN=YourDataSourceName;UID=whoever;PWD=youknow;DB=somedatabase -Curt

Try it. You'll like it.
