How do I time a query from the SQL Editor?

Hello Family, (I like this intro :) ) Is there a way from the SQL Editor to get the time it takes to do a query? Im using: INFORMIX-Universal Server Version 9.12.UC2X1 on Solaris 2.5 and SQLEditor 2.00.TC1 on Win95. It would help me in my quest to optimize my code.
