The problem is that the constructor is too large for the compiler to handle. You can overcome this with the brkcnsct that Informix supplies with Newera. There is a brkcnsct.exe located in your %INFORMIXDIR%\\bin. There is readme file brkcnsct.txt which gives you more info. regards Rajeev On Mon, 27 May 1996 seand@smurfittp.com wrote: > > Can anyone help me here? > > I'm trying to compile a New ERA Program with VC++1.5. > > I get a C1050 - code segment too large error. > > I've tried /Gy and /AH but to no avail. > The program uses quite a lot of inheritance. e.g. > > I've changed the standard Informix supplied Paging classes from normal > ixSuperFields to uzZoomSuperfields so that I can use the paging classes > supplied in the examples, in a Application Frameworks program. > > > Please, help me!!!! > > Thanks, > > Sean D. > > >
