Drop Temp Table Fails
Attempting to drop a temp table:
select * from route1
order by world_num_prefx1
into temp worldtab
[ ... much creating of cursors, starting of reports, selects from
the temp table, etc. deleted ... ]
drop table worldtab
Causes the following error:
Program stopped at "trace.4gl", line number 887.
SQL statement error number -242.
Could not open database table (clunding.worldtab).
SYSTEM error number -106.
ISAM error: non-exclusive access.
Hint: When all the intervening code is commented out, the drop works fine.
So, I know the problem is in the code I'm not showing, but I don't know
where. Any clues? What types of things might cause an error like this?
