You may want to check how many shared memory segments are allocated to Informix and other programs; use the unix command "ipcs". If you normally have many Informix segments you could change the onconfig file parameters for SHMADD and the initial shared memory parameter to increase the amount of memory initially allocated and dynamically allocated per segment. This will reduce the number of shared memory segments on the OS. -- --------------------------------------------------------- Steven Hauser email: hause011@tc.umn.edu URL: http://www.tc.umn.edu/~hause011 ---------------------------------------------------------
