Upgrade to INFORMIX 7.1

Hi, Does anyone know if upgrading from INFORMIX 6 to INFORMIX 7.1 requires a re-link of ESQL/C code? We will soon be upgrading and want to be able to move executables from our INFORMIX 6 to INFORMIX 7.1 environment without relinking. Thanks, jim foxj@cc.bellcore.com
