I've got to ask. please don't be insulted, are you 100% sure that you are using raw
devices??

The releases don't tell me much as it's for Solaris 2.5.1
(Im running 2.6) and just tell me KAIO is supported. I tried
to load the module manually (modload /kernel/sys/kaio). The
module loaded correctly. I restarted Informix but still no
kaio thread.
