Here is a smaller query that does the same thing. I have removed the
'periodt' table, but now SELECT's on the 'batch' table hang.
select tmatter,
tworkhrs,
tworkdol,
tworkdt,
twoper,
tbillhrs,
tbilldol,
tbilldt,
tbiper,
from timecard, batch
where tbatch = bbatch and
tstatus <> "ADE"
order by tmatter
It has something to do with the number of rows, I think. This code is
from a 4gl program, but all testing was done in isql (or dbaccess).
