Re: Informix 4GL 6.03 Y2K compliant?

Bruce As Mr Leffler has pointed out on this forum again and again, and very rightly so, its your application that is either Y2K compliant or not. Informix 4GL and the engine has always had the capability to handle 4 digit years, so if your application uses 4 digit years, you should have nothing to worry about. But my guess is you are asking if 4GL 6.03 has support for the Informix environment variable DBCENTURY, which can be used to make the application decide what century the date should be in based on the value of DBCENTURY. The answer is no. 4GL introduced support for DBCENTURY in 4GL 6.10 later renamed to 7.x.
