sqlhosts on W2k

Hi all, I have got define the group on the UNIX server : #sqlhosts on UNIX g_repl1 group - - i=1,e=tranzit tranzit ontlitcp tranzit online g=g_repl1 How do I define this group on W2k in registry? I have got this in the registry, but this isn't functional: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\\\SOFTWARE\\\\INFORMIX\\\\SQLHOSTS\\\\g_repl1] "HOST"="-" "OPTIONS"="i=1" "PROTOCOL"="group" "SERVICE"="-" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\\\SOFTWARE\\\\INFORMIX\\\\SQLHOSTS\\\\tranzit] "HOST"="tranzit" "OPTIONS"="g=g_repl1" "PROTOCOL"="olsoctcp" "SERVICE"="1525" I can't connection on the database server tranzit over the group g_repl1. I receive this message: 25555: Server g_repl1 is not listed as a dbserver name in sqlhosts. Direct connection on the database server tranzit from W2k is functional. Thanks for any help. Hi Angelika, i've seen this problem. My experience showed, that you cannot connect to the replication group on WinNT of Win2k. CDR can access this entry and so cdr replication does work. On UNIX-Boxes you can connect to the replication group as you mentioned before. So: DO NOT USE THE WRONG PLATFORM. WHAT ABOUT LINUX ??
