Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hi everyone!
Now that IDS 7.3 on NT supports the use of Raw Devices,
I was wondering if the same arguement in this thread on Unix
still holds true for NT.
Tech support here in the Philippines says that I would
be better of using cooked files on NT as there is no
benefit of using raw devices unlike in Unix.
Anyone here that will dispute that?
TIA,
Zandy
