XML and Informix

Have any of you had much experience taking XML files and loading them into tables in an Informix database? What tools have you used for that? How about creating XML files from an Informix database? A project I worked on a while ago, we stored the XML in a smart blobspace and had a esqlc program to create XML on the fly.
