Installation Problem

Hi, I am a systems engineer working for Acucobol in the UK. I am in a somewhat frustrating situation! I have a licenced copy of On-line Dynamic Server which I want to use to demonstrate connectivity from COBOL applications to Informix, for our customers. I have installed the database, but cannot get it to start. Informix UK will not talk to me, since the product was obtained in the USA and Informix USA will not talk to me, since I am in the UK. I'm not about to buy a support contract (we don't sell Informix, we don't use Informix, we just want to show our customers that Informix will work with our products). So, to my problem: Online D.S. version 7.22.UC3 SCO Unix Openserver release 5. When I run 'oninit -i', or choose startup from 'onmonitor' I get a message 'Fatal error in shared memory creation'. The 'online.log' file has the lines shmat: [EINVAL][22]:shared memory base address illegal using 0x80080000, needs 0x80400000 mt_shm_init:can't create resident segment I've done a certain amount of tinkering with the SHMBASE parameter in etc/onconfig but without success. Having jumped through more hoops than I am ever likely to endure again with Informix support I give up on them. Can anyone help?
